针对雅思口语考试，本教材采用的应对策略是：以听为本、听说结合以促进口语能力提高；通过全真模拟试题进行实战演练，最终攻克雅思口语考试。
　　《新航道·胡敏雅思教材第6代：雅思考试口语金牌教程（5分-6.5分）》第一部分听说练习的使用方法如下：
　　1．做Pre-listening练习，里面包含了帮助考生理解听力对话所需的单词和短语，方便考生熟悉话题和语境；
　　2．边听听力材料边做练习，建议考生根据个人情况就该部分制定不同学习计划，有些考生可能需要多听几遍才能完成听力练习；
　　3．完成听力练习之后，总结归纳听力材料中涉及的实用搭配、常用短语、习惯用法等，这样考生便能扩充自己的口语素材；
　　4．做口语部分练习，其间考生可将前两部分学到的单词、短语、句型等运用到实际口语当中；此外考生可尝试着使用前两部分积累的素材就同一个问题做不同的回答。
