TOMBS》是“中国古建筑之美”之《帝王陵寝建筑》。全书大致分论文、彩色图版、建筑词汇、年表四大部分。论文内容阐述各类建筑之产生背景、发展沿革、建筑特色，收有建筑结构图、平面图、复原图、沿革图、建筑类型比较图表等。另外还附有建筑分布图及导览地图，标注著名建筑分布地点及周边之名胜古迹及图片辅助说明；彩色图版大体按建筑分布区域或建成年代为序进行编排。收录精美彩色图片(包括论文插图)约一千七百幅。其图片均有图版说明，概要说明该建筑所在地点、建筑年代及艺术技术特色；词汇部分按笔画编列与本类建筑有关之建筑词汇，供非专业读者参阅；中国建筑大事年表，以颜色标示本册所属之大事纪要。
