I talked to a volunteer who was cooking for the children. When she talked of the terrible situation of these children, I saw tears on her face.②Seeing this, I strongly felt something needed to be done.I shouldn't sit at my home in the United States and ignored(忽视) all of the hurt that went on in the world. These children faced not only poor living conditions, but a lack of health care and education as well. Volunteers were important to them.
