More than one 的用法

More than one 意为“不止一个”，虽然在意义上表示复数，但作主语或修饰主语时，与 many a （许多）用法一样，谓语动词用单数形式，如果 more 修饰复数名词 再跟 than one 作主语时，其谓语动词则要用复数形式。

More than one person ______ (have) gone to the cinema. 去电影院看电影的不止是一个人。
