Lance Armstrong is a hero and role model for people of all ages, but he appeals mostly to adults and cancer patients. Armstrong was a champion cyclist with a bright future when his world was struck. At the age of 25，just after winning two important races in the cycling world, Armstrong was diagnosed(诊断) with cancer which had already spread to his lungs and even brain. With only a 50∶50 chance of survival, Armstrong determined to live. He tried his best to beat the cancer. While the doctors cured his body, he believed he could be well and never stopped training.
