1. Show the symbols of different currencies. Teach the words: currency, accumulate, possession. 2. The Ss describe the pictures and they can try to title them. 3. Then ask them : what do you think of shopping? How do you feel when you are shopping? Does shopping bring happiness to people? What is wrong with shopping these days? 4. Ss read the passage and find out the writer’s views on shopping.
