　　Tallulah Lois,my youngest daughter of three,is definitely the princess of the family.So,it was only fitting that she asked for a party for her third birthday.Considering we had recently seen the newer Cinderella and loved the film,it seemed a fitting pick for the theme!

　　It's always nice to have an activity planned to keep the kids engaged.We painted bird houses that they could take home,and made a call to the local character company to arrange a little visit from Cinderella herself.It worked out perfectly.When Cinderella turned the comer,the kids were very excited,especially Tallulah.Cinderella sang and danced with them;they played a game together and had their faces painted.It was a hit!

　　When it comes to food,it's fun to get creative.Instead of serving ice cream with the cake,I made milkshakes (奶昔) and served them in cute milk bottles.It all came together perfectly.

　　Here are a few tips for creating an unforgettable party.Keep it simple.Try to use what you have around the house.Make it easy on yourself.You want to enjoy the party,too.Minimal mess is key -get creative,like serving milkshakes instead of ice cream.And always prepare ahead of time as much as you can.Keep the kids entertained with a craft or game.
