From the survey of students in our school, wehave found that 51 percent of the students are willingto turn to their friends when they have problems. Meanwhile, 30 percent of the students preferto talk about their problems with their teachersand only 19 percent of the students want to ask theirparents for help when in trouble.
The results show that most students are unwillingto communicate with their parents about their problems. One reason may be the generation gap, whichrefers to a lack of understanding between parentsand their children. Another one might be that someparents are usually too hard on their children. In thiscase, the students would rather communicate morewith their friends, who can easily understand them.
In my opinion, we should try tocommunicate more often with our parents. On theotherhand, parents should try their best to understand and support their children.
