The HG Wells Short Story Competition

Founded by BBC reporter Reg Turnill and his wife to celebrate the life arid works of HG Wells and encourage creative writing, this competition has the theme of "peace" this year. Entries must be in English and must be entirely your own works.

The Margaret and Reg Turnill Prize :£ 1,000 (21 and under);

The content of the pictures in the contest can range from a family member, to a scene, to a movement at just the right lime. There are 6 categories: Natural World; Travel; People; The American Experience; Altered Images; Mobile.

Who may enter:Open to photographers who are 18 years old or above

Entry fees:Free

The Grand Prize: S2,500 Embracing Our Differences

Artists, professionals, amateurs, students may submit art images on the theme of "enriching lives through diversity". Your original artwork may be in any size.However, you mast create, scan and it as a digital file.

Prize: $1,000 The 16th Annual Tom Howard/Margaret Reid Poetry Contest

The contest is organized by Winning Writer. You may submit poems on any theme, up to 250 lines each.You may submit the same poem at the same time to this contest and to others.
