2、 I watch colorful birds responding to sunflower seeds and peanuts from my kitchen windows and cut grapes and apples on the ground. Some birds respond to their daily feeding when I call out the names I've given them. The scene is delightful and calm.

About three years ago, I noticed a newcomer to this festive display. It was a baby chipmunk(花栗鼠), apparently on its own. Over that summer, I watched it grow.
