　　传记(biography)是一种特点鲜明的文体。什么是biography呢？字典里对它的解释如下： A biography is the story of a person's life written by somebody else. 即有关一个人的生活的历史，它是客观、真实的，而不是虚构的故事。在同学们平常的英语写作中，需要写的biography比较简单。通常包括以下这些内容：

Introduction: who the article is about, what kind of personality he or she has

Body: where and when he or she was born, where he or she has lived, where he or she has studied, what jobs he or she has had, what he or she has done

Conclusion

传记多以时间顺序来组织材料，写作前可根据获得的材料列一个简单的大纲，将值得写的内容列出来，然后进行筛选。
