一、教学目标
1. 通过自然拼读法和在图片的辅助下,学生能听说读写单词change, ago, programme, grandchildren, interviewer, lady等。
2. 在课文插图的帮助下,通过学习课文,学生能运用句型There were/ weren't ...... many years ago.描述过去。 There are ...... now. 描述现在。
3. 通过小组合作学习,学生敢于开口,有兴趣对比描述过去与现在。
4. 通过合作学习,学生乐于与他人进行交流,表明自己对某事物的看法。

教学重点:熟练运用所学句型There were/ weren't ...... many years ago. There are ...... now. 描述现在生活与过去生活的不同。

教师准备:课本、PPT课件、单词卡片等;
学生准备:课前与家人交流中国几十年的发展与变化。
五、教学过程
Step1. Warm-up
教师热情地和学生打招呼,欢迎学生假期归来,学生之间互相问好。教师可以问学生:"Did you have a good time in your holidays? What did you do in your holidays ? 学生主动跟教师交流,教师可以帮助学生回顾相关的语言知识,例如:一般过去时的用法、常用词汇等,为后面的教学做铺垫。
[设计意图]
通过师生间的相互问候,拉近与学生的距离。交流学生假期的情况,创设轻松愉快的英语氛围,使学生尽快进入英语学习状态。
Step2. Presentation
1. 热身活动后,教师告诉学生:"After the winner holiday, you have a lot of changes. Now you are taller, you are stronger. 教师边说边把"change"板书在黑板上,告诉学生这就是第一模块的主题,同时也是我们生活中一个永恒的主题:Everything is changing.
2. 呈现幻灯片, "what's this? " "A cat"
There is a cat.
What are they? Two cats
There are two cats.

复习there be 句型,从而引出there be 的过去式。
3. 呈现幻灯片,"Look, who are they? What are they doing?"引出:"Sam and Lingling are talking about the changes."听音,跟读课文。

通过讨论学生的变化,从而引出了本课主题 change,导入课文,让学生了解到Everything is changing。
Step3. Text
1. Everything is changing. You are changing. I am changing. Our motherland, China is changing, too. This is a picture many years ago. (板书ago, 利用卡片自然拼读学单词) Now let's watch a programme about the changes in China.
