一、教学目标

1. 通过自然拼读法和在图片的辅助下，学生能听说读写单词change, ago, programme, grandchildren, interviewer, lady等。

2. 在课文插图的帮助下，通过学习课文，学生能运用句型There were/ weren't ...... many years ago.描述过去。 There are ...... now. 描述现在。

3. 通过小组合作学习，学生敢于开口，有兴趣对比描述过去与现在。

4. 通过合作学习，学生乐于与他人进行交流，表明自己对某事物的看法。

教学重点：熟练运用所学句型There were/ weren't ...... many years ago. There are ...... now. 描述现在生活与过去生活的不同。

三、教学方法：任务教学法、情境教学法、自然拼读法。

四、教学准备：

教师准备：课本、PPT课件、单词卡片等;

学生准备：课前与家人交流中国几十年的发展与变化。

五、教学过程

Step1. Warm-up

教师热情地和学生打招呼，欢迎学生假期归来，学生之间互相问好。教师可以问学生："Did you have a good time in your holidays? What did you do in your holidays ? 学生主动跟教师交流，教师可以帮助学生回顾相关的语言知识，例如：一般过去时的用法、常用词汇等，为后面的教学做铺垫。

[设计意图]

通过师生间的相互问候，拉近与学生的距离。交流学生假期的情况，创设轻松愉快的英语氛围，使学生尽快进入英语学习状态。

Step2. Presentation

1. 热身活动后，教师告诉学生："After the winner holiday, you have a lot of changes. Now you are taller, you are stronger. 教师边说边把"change"板书在黑板上，告诉学生这就是第一模块的主题，同时也是我们生活中一个永恒的主题：Everything is changing.

2. 呈现幻灯片, "what's this? " "A cat"

There is a cat.

What are they? Two cats

There are two cats.

复习there be 句型，从而引出there be 的过去式。

3. 呈现幻灯片，"Look, who are they? What are they doing?"引出："Sam and Lingling are talking about the changes."听音，跟读课文。

通过讨论学生的变化，从而引出了本课主题 change，导入课文，让学生了解到Everything is changing。

Step3. Text

1. Everything is changing. You are changing. I am changing. Our motherland, China is changing, too. This is a picture many years ago. (板书ago, 利用卡片自然拼读学单词) Now let's watch a programme about the changes in China.
