2. Choice n. 选择，挑选

choose chose chosen 选择，挑选，选举，决定

choose ...from从。。。中选择

cannot choose but do sth.只好做某事

choose to do 决定作某事

I cann't choose but obey.我只好服从。

He chose to stay at home.他决定待在家里。

3. recommend V. 推荐，介绍 recommendation 推荐（信）， 劝告, 建议

Recommend sth. to sb.= recommend sb.sth.向某人推荐某物

Recommend sb. to do sth. 建议某人干某事

Recommend doing sth. 建议做

Recommend that (should do ,should 可省略)

I have recommended this remedy to a number of people.

I recommended you not to disobey your officers.

I recommended (you)buying this dictionary.

The doctor recommended that he (should ) eat soft food for another week.
