I..基本结构: It is / was +被强调部分+that/who+其他成分
被强调的成分可以是主语、宾语和状语, 但不能是谓语.在该句型中, it无实际意义, 且不可用this或that 替换, 强调人时还可用who/whom做连词
判断是不是强调句型的方法: 把it is / was ...that...这几个标志词去掉,在不添词、不减词的前提下,剩下的成分如仍然能组成一个完整的句子,这就是强调句,否则就不是:

考点一:问句形式:
1)一般疑问句: Is / Was it +被强调部分 + that/who + 其他成分?

2)特殊疑问句: 特殊疑问词 + is / was + it + that/who ......?
Who was it that called this morning?
When is it that we'll hold a meeting?

考点二:not...until句型的强调句
It is /was not until..........+that+其他成分.
Example: I didn't realize she was a famous film star until she took off her dark glasses.
===It was not until she took off her dark glasses that I realized she was a famous film star

考点三: 强调句与定语从句的区别

如在表示时间或地点的名词前缺少介词则应为定语从句
It was October 1,1949 when New China was founded.(定语从句)

考点四:强调句型和定语从句一起考
