一、热身复习
1)学生们边唱边跳《小期末》。
2)听完后,老师进行情感渗透

二、导入并学习活动
1:老师播放纽约唐人街舞狮表演的视频,询问学生:
"Where are they ?"请学生回答你的问题。有些学生可能对唐人街有所了解,所以部分学生能回答出这个问题。对学生说:"They are in New York.They are in Chinatown."
2.然后出示"There's a Chinatown in New York."并问学生"Are there any Chinatowns in China?"引导学生回答"All towns in China are Chinatowns!"
3.播放活动1的课文,让学生跟读。学生们跟读完了以后,进行情感渗透:Chinatown的中文翻译是唐人街。有时也称为华埠或中国街。它是中国人聚居地和商业区。目前,纽约有三个公认的唐人街。它们是曼哈顿区的唐人街(Chinatown)、皇后区的法拉盛(Flushing)和布鲁克林区的第八大道(Eighth Avenue)。 唐朝在中国历史上是一个强盛的朝代。在海外的华侨华人往往称自己是"唐人",他们聚集的地方便称为唐人街。 唐人街是中华民族在海外的落脚地,也是中华文化在海外的保留地和生长点。住在唐人街,就像在中国大陆、台湾和香港等其他华人小城一样。
三、学习新课:
.课文教学:
1、老师先出示中国商店和餐馆的图片,让学生学习Chinese shops and restaurants,并延伸到句子There are lots of Chinese shops and restaurants.(配合图片进行)There's Chinese dancing.并通过PPT让学生感受中国唐人街的风俗人情。 .
2、请学生认真听第一遍录音,并回答问题(1、)What is Daming doing?
(2、)Does Daming miss China?
(3、)There ____ (is /are) lots of Chinese shops and restaurants.
There _____ (is /are) Chinese dancing. 引导学生回答出这三个问题,然后让通过PPT,让学生了解there be的结构,并紧跟上练习题
(1) There ____ some birds in the sky.
( 2) There____ an apple on the desk.
(3) 0There___ some juice in the bottle.
然后学生听第二遍,边听边跟读,听完第三遍后,出现迎难而上
1. I'm sending an email.(划线部分提问)
2.I miss my family .(变一般疑问句)
3.There are some Chinatowns in China.(变否定句)
3、最后以龙的传人歌曲结尾,并进行情感渗透。
