  教学目标

  1.使学生能听说认读单词tall, short, big, small, fat, thin, big and fat

  2.掌握句型:This/That ... is tall/ short/ big/ small.

  3.能灵活运用This/That ... is tall/ short/ big/ small. 描述某人/物的特征。

  4. 培养学生爱护小动物的美好品质。

  5.通过学习,树立学生学习英语的自信心和团结合作的能力。

  教学重点、难点 1.重点:

  (1)学习并掌握单词tall, short, big, small, fat, thin, big and fat

  (2)掌握句型 This/That ... is tall/ short/ big/ small.

  2.难点:掌握 big and fat, small and thin

   句型 It's big and fat.

  教学准备 单词卡片,多媒体课件

  教学过程

  Step1. Warming-up.

  Greetings.

  Sing a song

  Step2.Presentation

  1).教师给学生们看一些东西,拿出两个大小不一样的球,引出big,small.

  T: Boys and girls , Now I want to show you something.

  Look, What are they?

  Ss: They are balls.

  T: What colour is it? (分别问两个球)

  T: Yes, this ball is big,and this ball is small.(拿着两个球对比,引导学生说出big,small)

  Ss: big.(给说对的学生加分)

  呈现卡片,带读的时候教师板书,同时引出pig,并让学生一起举起手拼读。抽读,纠正学生发音。做大大的动作操练。

  Drill: 点读游戏(教师点到某个学生的名字,同桌也快速站起来读)

  (用几件物体来进行句子操练)

T: This ball(黄球) is big. 板书:This ball is big.
