教材分析

本课新单词有born, as,became,herself, role model，词组是all over the world，主要句型是She couldn't .... She could ....本课主要从学生兴趣出发，联系学生已有的对名人的了解，通过dialogues、readings、picture talking等多种活动，使学生学会运用could和couldn't描述某人过去能做和不能做的事情。同时，通过学习美国著名盲人作家Helen Keller的故事，教育学生要坚强勇敢地向命运挑战。

教学目标 １、知识与技能目标

（1）四会新单词、新词组和2个新句型，做到发音准确、清晰；

（2）熟练运用新句型与同桌进行相互问答；

（3）能够借助课文中的照片和图片，进行看图问答或综合说话；

（4）能够根据多媒体课件自主读写英语短文材料。

（1）通过师生问答、两两对话、角色扮演等多种言语交际活动，培养和提高口语交际能力和在日常生活中运用英语的能力；

2. Presentation:
