一、教学目标：

1. 知识目标：

　　句型：Why do you like pandas? ----Because they are very cute.

Where are lions from?----They are from South Africa.

2. 技能目标：

　　让学生掌握常用动物的表达法和它们的特征，学会阐述喜欢它们的理由。学会询问并回答动物来自于哪个国家。

3. 情感目标：

通过对动物的学习，增强对动物的了解，增强保护动物的意识。

难点：国家名称的学习

Watch a short video about pandas.

Step2: Presentation

1. challenge1: Listen and see to know what animal it is.

teach : panda, tiger, elephant, koala, lion, giraffe.

2. teach the plural form and pronunciation of the animal nouns:

animal-animals; panda-pandas; tiger-tigers; elephant-elephants; koala-koalas; lion-lions; giraffe-giraffes.

3. Let's chant:

Animal, animal ,I like animals.

Tiger , tiger, I like tigers.

Elephant, elephant, I like elephants .

Giraffe, giraffe, I like giraffes.

Panda, panda, I like pandas .

Koala, koala , I like koalas.

Lion, lion, I like lions.

4. Match the words with the animals in the picture.

5. Describe（描述）the animals with adjectives(形容词）.

tiger: big, scary...

elephant: big, friendly...

koala: cute, lazy...
