　　developing用作定语或表语，但所表示的意思是"发展中的(that is trying to build up its industry and improve the living conditions of its people)"。

　　developed也可用作定语或表语，但表示的是"已发展的；发达的；先进的；成熟的(of a good level of standard；advanced,mature)"。例如:

　　This country has a highly developed system of agriculture.

　　这个国家拥有十分发达的农业体系。

2)辨析income，pay，salary,wages和fee:

income (money received over a period of time,esp.as payment for work or as interest on investments)收入；收益；进款(统称)

pay (money paid for regular work)薪水，工资；最普通用语，特指海陆军人及其他在政府部门工作者的薪水。

　　salary (fixed regular,usu.monthly payment to employees doing other than manual or mechanical work)薪水；指从事脑力劳动的劳动者，如事务员、记者、老师、牧师等的薪水；注意表达工资高或少时，应用much/little wages。

wages(regular usu.weekly payment made or received for work or services)工资(通常用复数形式)；指劳动者的工资,特指以时间计酬，或日薪、周薪等短期结算的劳动报酬。

fee(amount paid for professional advice or service,e.g.to private teachers ,doctors ,etc.)手续费，薪金；指付给律师、医师或其他专业人员的酬金或学费等。
