Teaching aims
1. Language object
a) Students are able to master the new descriptive words and phrases: long/short, straight/curly, tall/short, thin/heavy, medium height, and medium build.
b) Students can understand the question "What does he/she look like?" and answer it with proper sentence pattern and phrases.
2. Ability object
Students are able to ask and talk about appearance by using the proper sentences and words.
3. Emotional object
During the lesson, students learn to be a cooperative person by finishing tasks with partners and group members. After the class, students can describe others in a friendly and polite way.

Key point: to use the descriptive words and phrases to depict others.
Difficult point: to choose the right verbs(is or have/has) to match different descriptive phrases and words.
