【教学方法】:

Listening-speaking methods; comparative methods. 教学过程 一备 Step 1:Lead-in

1. Revise what the basic elements of a program are.

2. Focus on how to write and read date or a day.

  设计说明: 帮助学生program构成的主要基本要素,重点介绍日期和星期的表达方法,并适当训练他们对时间和日期的听力反应, 为即将进行的听力练习作准备。

Step 2:Listening practice

Ask students to listen to the recording and circle the correct information on page 12 and 13.

  设计说明: 完成课本的两个听力练习,训练学生学会听取所需信息,学生的听力能力在此环节受到集中训练。第一个听力练习让学生根据听力内容,捕捉活动计划涉及的"date, day, time, place, event/activity"这五类信息。第二个听力练习较长,可分段逐个让学生听,降低难度。

Step 3: Comparing information

1. Present the two suggestions on comparing information.

2. Read the information and find out the right book based on the key information.

3.order a copy. "order"意思为" 订购,订货"。

4.somehow 意思是 "不知怎么地"

如:She looks different somehow.

Somehow, I don't feel I can trust him.

4. The+比较级+(主语)+(谓语),the+比较级+(主语)+(谓语.表示"越...越...".

Eg.越快越好。The sooner, the better.

你学习越认真,进步就越大。The harder you study, the greater progress you will make.

Step 5:Homework

 Preview the information on how to write a notice in the NO.2 paper and finish the related exercise I and II.
