Read the email from an English pen friend .

1) I have a favour to ask. 我想请你帮个忙。

　　ask sb a favour / ask a favour of sb. 请帮个忙

　 翻译：我想请你帮个忙。请把自行车借给我好么？

　 I want to _____ ______ _____ _____you; will you lend me your bicycle?

do sb a favour / do a favour for sb 给某人以恩惠/帮某人

Will you do me a favour? = May I ask a favour of you? 能帮个忙吗？

in favour of 支持，赞同；为（有利于） I spoke in favour of the motion.

in one's favour 受某人喜爱的；（对某人）有利的

He stands high in his boss's favour. The wind was (low) in our favour.

2) I wonder if you would be kind enough to answer these questions.

3) certain adj. （未指明真实名称的）某......，（说出名称但不很熟悉的）某......，一位姓的（人）（置于名词之前）

3. Individual work
