Teaching steps:

Step 1 Warm up

Play a piece of video " Thomas &Friends"

T：Do you like Thomas? Today, let's follow Thomas to visit Dodo Island.

Step 2 Presentation

　1、Words teaching.

　T：What can you see in the picture?

　Ss：火车，小山，房屋，车站。

教授新词train, hill, house/houses, station.

Chant: Train, train, it's a train.

Hill, hill, this is a hill.

House, house, they're houses.

Station, station, at the station.

通过老师领读，学生个别读，集体读等方式反复操练，检查学生对单词的熟练程度。

　2、Text learning

T：Up, up, up the hill, it's up the hill.

　　T: Where's the Train 1? It's up the hill.（Down, down, down the hill, it's down the hill.

T: Where's the Train 2? It's down the hill.

Near, near, near the houses, it's near the houses.

T: Where's the Train 3? It's near the houses.

At, at, at the station, it's at the station.
