Each Account Manager needs to visit customers at their workplace and provide them with workable on-site solutions. On most occasions, the Managers need to prepare their work either on their way to the customer or in the customer's office.
Over the past six months, we have discovered that more and more customers require instant service. A survey of all the Account Managers suggests around 70% of the customers want us to provide their credit evaluation (信用评估) report and / or customized product information at the first customer meeting. This is impossible if we have to rely on access to the bank's server in producing those reports.
The normal practice is to provide such information when we get back to the office where we can access the server. The increasing competition in our industry is offering customers more choices. Several of our major competitors are providing on-site information with their laptops. As a result, some of our customers are becoming more impatient about our present procedures.
