  2. Train the students' speaking ability by expressing their opinions on the differences between books

【教学重点】:

Enable the students to express opinions about how to tell the differences.

Enable the students to tell differences between various books.

  【教学方法】: Cooperative learning, task-based learning 教学过程 一备 Step Ⅰ Brainstorm

  1. Greeting

  2. Let the students enjoy some pictures about some books on literature and some famous writers and different ways of reading.. Then activate students' imagination by asking the following questions:

  T: As we know, literature plays an important role in our daily lives, let's enjoy some pictures.

  What are the books about?

  Do you know the genres of literature?

  Do you know these people? Are they very famous?

  What are they famous for?

  Do you know some ways of reading?

  Ask Ss to do group presentation about the questions above.

  Step Ⅱ Further discussion

  1. Ask Ss to match the writers with their masterpieces:

  1). Do you know these writers and their works?

  2). Can you read a poem aloud?

  2. Get the Ss look at some pictures and give the answers

  Step Ⅲ conclusion

  After the discussion is finished, the teacher sums up the variety of books and different ways of reading different literatures.

  

  Step Ⅳ group discussion

   Ask the Ss to work in groups to discuss the questions on page 1.
