III.Teaching Aims

By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:

1) Students get to comprehend the text and grasp important new words and phrases and sentence pattern:

be addicted to ; tough , adolescence (adolescent ), due to , desperate , pregnant,

2) Students learn to access and synthesize the information of the passage, especially some implied information.
