教学难点:

如何让学生在课堂上学会运用There be结构,一般过去时来谈论过去的生活,并能联系现在的生活进行对比,灵活运用所学句式。

教学过程:

Step 1、Warm-up热身复习

Let the students say and chant"Changes,changes everywhere..."happily and loudly.

Step 2、Listen and read 课文复习

1) Play the tape,let the students listen carefully and read after the tape and understand the texts.

2) Read the texts in groups,let them pay attention to the new words and phrases.

3) Check the new words and phrases in groups.Let the groups get ready for saying out in class.

4) Play a game. According to the teacher's instructions,let the students say out the new words,phrases and sentences as quickly as possible. Give the winner a sticker.

Step 3 Pronunciation 发音复习

1) Play the tape, let the students listen and repeat the words, they must pay attention to the letters and read correctly.

2) Let them find out the others in groups.They can write down the words and match. Clap for the winners.

Step 4 Draw and talk

Let the students draw two different pictures about their home,then talk about the pictures.They can use the sentences:

There was/were ... many/two/... years/days/weeks ago.

There is /are ... now.

We lived...many/two/... years/days/weeks ago.

We live ... now.

Step 5 Do, ask and answer.

Let the students play a game, they can take out much paper write down"...days,...weeks,...months,...years",then ask and answer in pairs or in groups.e.g. write down "three days ago",they ask and answer in pairs

A:-What did you do there? B:I ....
