Part 5 Teaching Procedures

Step 1. Lead-in. (5min) here is individual work.

　　Show ss some paintings, then stop when the famous painting Mona Lisa appears, and ask students to guess why she is smiling.

　　Then teacher says there are four styles in the western painting, and asks do you know which style Mona Lisa belongs to. And also it is a question to be answered in the last part of the lesson.

　　This is designed to practice ss' spoken English and arouse students' desire for research.
