Period 1 A sample lesson plan for reading

     (A PIONEER FOR ALL PEOPLE)

Introduction

In this period, after the warming up, students will first be guided to give the background information about Professor Yuan Longping. Then they start reading aloud to the recording,reading and underlining,reading to identify and summarize and understanding difficult sentences. Students can be asked to read and transfer and read the text to decide on its type of writing and its summary. The period will end in students having a dictation.

Objectives

To help students understand the text's forms and contents and learn about agriculture

To help students communicate on the topic in focus with the words, expressions and structures learned in this unit

Focus

Words struggle, hunger, expand, circulate, battle, rid, equip, export, confuse, regret, focus, reduce, skim, underline, comment Expressions thanks to, be satisfied with, would rather, focus on Patterns 1. What do you think would happen if tomorrow there was suddenly no rice to eat?
