Knowledge goals: Learn the modal verbs:can/ could, may/ might, will/ would, shall/ should, must/ can’t. Ability goals: Enable the students to understand the usage of the modal verbs and use the modal verbs to make sentences or to express their own opinion in real scenes. Learning ability goals: Develop students’ interest in Grammar Learning by autonomous learning and cooperative learning. Teaching important and difficult points: Know how each modal verb is used in different situations and use the modal verbs to make sentences in real scenes .
