教学设计 (Teaching procedure is divided into 5 steps)
Step 1 Warming-up
Have a warming up about looking at the clock and telling the time.
Five o'clock
half past six;
Ten to ten;
a quarter past eight;
Ten past eleven;
a quarter past one;
Step 2 Review
(1) Let Ss think about the activities in their school day, and try to remember the phrases about those activities with the help of some pictures;
(2) Let Ss make sentences about sb's working and resting,by using the sentence structure like: Sb + V. + at+ Time.
Step 3 Presentation (Activity1)
(1) Have a short listening about Activity 1 in the text book; let Ss listen for the time firstly;
(2) Match different times with the right o'clock; then listen again and match up the right sentence;
Step 2 Review
(1) Have an ask-and-answer about parents' jobs: What does your father/ mother do? Let Ss review some nouns about jobs they've learnt in Unit 1;
(2) Make a survey about How do Ss know their parents by questioning:
What time does he/ she get up?
When does he/ she go to work?
What time does he/ she go home?
When does he/she sleep?
And How do they eat( have breakfast/ have lunch/ have dinner)? Do you know that? Do you see that? Do you think they are easy or uneasy? Busy or not?
(3) Give Ss an emotional education! And then have a chant.(Activity 4)
Step 3 Presentation (Activity 2)
(1) Have a listening about the Smart family; Firstly make clear about three questions given in the ppt---
Whose birthday is today?
When will Mr. Smart be home?
What time can you hear?( Listen carefully!)
(Sometimes we can listen for two times-- the first two questions for one time, and the third one for the second time; if necessary, let the Ss listen twice!)
(2) Listen again and make clear that who is talking each time and who is answering, try to repeat some sentences;
(3) T explain some grammar points and make sure the Ss understand the structure of simple future tense;
(4) Read the text following the listening tape or magic pen; let some Ss try to retell the dialogue or have a Role-play;
Step 4 Practice (Activity 3)
(Two grammar points-- telling the time & the simple future tense)
Let Ss make sentences by using the grammar points and some vocabularies. Pictures in Activity 3 of textbook.
Step 5 Production (Activity 7)
Let Ss communicate and express the working and resting activities about their parents ,or we can leave this task as homework if time is limited. 时间表述应该由易到难,符合学生认知规律;
Review环节中出现的职业人物可以放置不同的职业形象(原来的五个人象很统一),方便学生记忆;
文本解析中,一般将来时句型结构出示的是:主+will+v.;可将v.该文do(动词原形);
教后
反思 本课时设计注重培养学生英语方面的语言表达和沟通能力、部分实用生活技能,同时注重情感态度的升华和正确价值观的培养!并通过听、读、唱,写等活动激发学生学习英语的兴趣,鼓励他们细致观察,认真思考,联系实际,大胆表达,体味生活,关爱家人。在提高英语语言知识水平的基础上,帮助学生养成良好的学习习惯和正确的生活态度。
