2. Look at the phonetic symbols and say the associated sounds if the ss are not familar with them.
3. Tell the ss that they have to group the words on the board depending on how how the "-ed" is pronounced.
4. Now say each word and have the ss repeat them.Then go through the words one at a time and have the ss group them appropriately.
