The usage of the language points such as simplify, solve, from -on, explore, as a result, anyhow.

预习检测(学生活动)

1. Check the exercises in exercises book.

2.Ask some students to retell the passage in their own words

3.Ask students to learn the language points in exercise book by themselves

导入新课，展示目标（教师活动）

目标：1. Learn the words and expressions appearing in the reading passage.Over time, sum, go by, as a result, anyway, so...that.

2. Understand some difficult and long sentences.

Lead in

1. Get the students to read the reading passage again to underline all the new words and useful expressions or collocations in the passage.

2. Do the exercises in discovering useful words and expressions
