T: OK. Now please turn to page 75. First let's do Exercise 4. There are five different introductions for you to read. From each introduction you can get a piece of advice on how to write introductions. Match the pieces of advice for writing 1 - 5 with different introductions a - e.

After 3 minutes, check the answers with the whole class. Then learn the pieces of advice together.

T: I think you may know how to write introductions. The 5 pieces of advice are very useful for you. You should keep them in mind. Now please choose two of the sports listed in Exercise 5 and I'll give you 10 minutes to write introductions to articles about them and I'll ask some of you to read your writing.

While the students are writing, go around and help some students when necessary.

After 10 minutes, get some of them to read their writing before the whole class.

T: Now it's time to give your writing to the class. It's a good opportunity for you to practice before classmates. You can learn from each other and improve your writing. Any volunteer?
