I. Warming up
值日生到前面展示对话,谈论身边的事物,它们是由什么制成的。
A:Hello! Danny!
B:Hello!Kate!Whhere are you going?
A:I just came back from an art fair.
B:Really? Did you see anything cool?
A:Of course! All the works there were made by students.Look! This is a shoe.
B: How beautiful! What is it made of?
A:It´s made of paper.We can use it as a pencil-box. Do you like it?
B:Yes!
A:Here you are.
B:Thank you! And what´s that?
A:Oh,it´s a man made star.
B:What is it made of?
A:It´s made of grass,real grass.
B:The fair is about environmental protection and recyling,right?
A: Yeah! And the students came up with some really interesting and creative ideas.
接着教师向学生展示灯泡,进行下列对话:
T:what´this?
S:It´s a light bulb.
T:What´s it made of?
S:It´s made of glass.
T:Do you know who invented it?
S:I don´t know./I know.Edison.
然后教师出示大发明家爱迪生的图片,并作简单介绍。爱迪生简介:
做下列填空练习:Thomas Edison _was_____ _born_____ (出生) in ...... When he was
