Step Two: Presentation
1、复习一些动词过去式,由play引出运动名称。
2、通过复习运动名称,学习本课所涉及到的新运动词汇:
baseball baseball cap baseball game play a baseball game
教师指着自己的手和头,让学生说出head 和hand,如果有人说错了,教师顺势学习新词mistake, make mistake, with和句子It's easy to make mistakes with English words.
课件出示其他新单词,教师教读。(smile, cup, planned, more, say---said)
3、Game: Big eyes.慧眼读词。
教师师课件出示本课单词,用聚光灯指向其中一个单词,由学生抢读。
(设计意图:使用点交互式一体机的放大功能,吸引学生的注意力,激发学生的学习兴趣,起到巩固单词的目的)
4、教师出示图片,在这些单词laughing-happy, crying-sad, sleeping-tired, running-afraid.的提示下,学习本课重点句型:Why are you...? Because I...
Why is she laughing? Because she is happy.
Why is he crying? Because she is sad.
Why is she sleeping? Because she is tired.
Why is he running? Because he is afraid.
