1. In this text the writer uses narration with comments. The questions by the host of the radio show and the answers by two Australians George and Fiona are used as the threads of the passage. In this way, the writer has efficiently recorded and narrated to the readers the history, geography and different aspects of literature with clear presentation and distinct gradation.

The writer narrates from the beginning of the radio show and the details of the dialogues between the host and two Australians, from which we have got a better knowledge of Australia and understand the proper sense of pride of the Australians.
