Unit One Where are you going?

一Free talk:

* greetings:

* warm up: Excuse me; turn left; turn right; go straight on.

二.Text:

1. Listen and point.

* Explain that if you go abroad, asking way is the very important thing for you to find the way.

* Ask someone what you will say when you ask ways?(in Chinese)

* Look at the pictures,find out what happened.

* Listen to the tape,for the 1st time listen carefully,for the 2nd time, try to find out the meaning.

* The 3rd time draw the directions on the notebooks.

* Explain the usage of the sentence:Where is...?

* Explain the meaning of "west lake road" and "east lake rode".Tell them the directions of "east,south,west north"; the meaning of "lost,supermarket,house".

2. listen and say.

* Actions:say directions and the students do the actions in pairs or groups.

* Practice the directions.

3. find and say.

* Practice the directions with the phrases.

* Do the actions with each other.
