I'm an 18-year-old middle school student. ①Having often been occupied with schoolwork, I have hardly ever found time to share housework at home. ②Feeling quite sorry for that, I began to think about what I could do to help.

　　③When my parents went shopping last Sunday, an idea struck me: why don't I surprise them and tidy up the house while they're away? ④So I gathered all the books, newspapers and other things scattered in the rooms and put them in their place. ⑤Then I cleaned everything with a damp cloth and polished the floors.

　　⑥What a surprise my parents had when they returned! ⑦My mother gave me a hug and I could see satisfaction in her eyes. ⑧Exhausted though I was after the hard work, I couldn't help feeling satisfied.
