　　1．确定描写对象：

　　★如果是名山大川，那么描写的重点是其形、色、态等自然风光方面的特点；

　　★如果是名胜古迹，那么描写的重点应该是其古迹、社会价值等方面的特点；

　　★如果是一个城市，那就要重点介绍这个地方的地理位置、人口、交通状况、气候条件、旅游景点等内容。

　　2．确定描写顺序：根据所描写的对象，确定适合的描写顺序。比如名川大山可以按照由近及远或由远及近，由高到低或由低到高等顺序进行描写；名胜古迹可以按照游览的顺序对其进行说明；介绍一个城市，则可以按照地理位置、人口、气候等顺序展开介绍。

　　3．确定时态：描写地理位置、自然风光等时多用一般现在时，介绍历史情况时用过去时。

　　4．另外，描写时要主次分明、详略得当。
