引导学生看更多的发明图片,并分组讨论Which one do you think is the most helpful invention in our daily life? 培养学生善于观察事物的能力。激发学生的想象力,认识世界,改造世界。

1. 1a小组讨论
出示1a的一组图片,小组讨论这些发明哪个在前,哪个在后,并排序,初步熟悉一般过去时被动语态
的表达结构主语 + was / were + 过去分词。最后教师给出答案。
2.1b.
播放录音,然后做1b听力练习,通过听力材料让学生进一步熟悉一般过去时被动语态的句式表达:肯定、否定以及单复数的区别。
3.1c Pairwork.
根据1b的对话讨论1b的发明。使学生熟练掌握下列对话:
A:When was the ... invented ?
B:I think it was invented in ...,从而掌握When引导的特殊疑问句。
4. Exercises.
针对以上的学习,让学生做Exercise1和Exercise 2,练习比较简单,主要是考查学生的单词运用能力和句型转换能力。答案:useful, inventions, inventors, was,
Invented, was invented, When was, invented,invented ,Who,were,invented by, don´t, was, written,
by.
5.小结:
练习后让学生自己总结一般过去时被动语态句型结构:主语 + was / were + 过去分词(+ by + 动 作执行者)构成。再完成Exercise 3翻译练习,进一步巩固被动语态,并提醒使用被动语态时常与一些表过去的时间状语连用,注意语境。如果学生不能总结出第二点,教师启发学生我们还学到了爱迪生以及他的发明生平事迹。
