3. worthwhile/worth/worthy
E.g. It isn't worth the trouble.
He is a worthy gentleman.
His behavior is worthy of great praise.
They achieved a very worthwhile result.
We had a long wait, but it was worthwhile because we got the tickets.
E.g. That is very worthy of our attention.
Nursing is a very worthwhile career.
The work is very worth doing. (very 应改为 well)
E.g. The picture is worth $ 500.
The clock is hardly worth repairing.
What is worth doing is worth doing well.
E.g. It isn't worth repairing the car.
Is it worth visiting the city?
E.g. Repairing the car is worth.(误)
