Step 1 Revision

1. Check the homework.

2. Ask some students to translate the sentences into English.

1). 谁去都一样.

→Who will go makes no difference.

2). 野生动物能否得到很好的保护至关重要.

→Whether wild life can be well protected is of great importance.

3). 恐龙为什么灭绝了依然是一个谜.

→Why dinosaurs died out remains a puzzle.

4). 新饭馆什么时候开张还没有决定.

→It is not decided when the new restaurant will open.

5). 你这么快就走, 真遗憾!

→It is shame that you have to leave so soon.

Step 2 Warming up

Tell students to turn to page 30 and do some listening. Play the tape three times for them to listen to and get some information to fill in the chart.
