Learn to identify the topic words when listening

Learn the words which are used to describe music

Stage 1 pre-listening

a. Teacher can give several pictures to students to present some of the key words

b. Students are asked to finish exercise 11 after learning the key words.

Stage 2 while -listening (1)

a. Listen the dialogue and finish exercise 3

Stage 3 while -listening (2)

a. to classify the expressions in exercise 4 into 4 groups:

to introduce an opinion, to ask for agreement, to show disagreement, to ask another person's opinion, and to show agreement

b. listen and check your answer

c. listen to the tape about pronunciation in exercise 7

Stage 4 post listening

a. Listen to some music extracts in exercise 9 and use the words in exercise 1 to describe the music extracts.

b. Finish exercise 10 on phrasal verbs
