Let the Ss listen to the radio programme about the paparazzi and some discussion, concentrating on the important words. Help them learn the function language about opinions, agreement and disagreement.

Teaching difficult points 教学难点

Guide the Ss to learn how to express their ideas about the argument that taking photographs of famous people is part of news reporting using the function language about opinions, agreement and disagreement.

Step I Revision

T: Good morning/afternoon, boys and girls!

Ss: Good morning/afternoon, Sir/ Madam!

T: Let's review the Grammar we learned in last period first by checking your homework.

Then the teacher will check the Ss' homework. For P66 Ex 1, the teacher can ask someone to read these World News reports, telling the class all the Passive verb forms underlined and what tenses. Ex 2 is easy, so it can be checked with the class together, ticking the more natural sentences. As to Exx 3, 4 and 5, the teacher can mange the Ss to read the sentences given and the ones they've changed into the Passive one by one
