I Teaching aims:

  1.Knowledge aims:

  The new words: what is you're my name grade you in

   What's=what is my name's =my name is

  The new sentences: What's your name ? My name's Zhou Pei.

   What class are you in? I'm in Class One ,Grade Five.

  2.Ability aims: To train the pupils' ability to read and write.

  3.Emotion aims:

   To make the pupils' to be interested in English.

II Teaching main and difficult points:

  What class are you in? I'm in Class One ,Grade Five.

III Teaching tools: A tape recorder

IV Teaching procedure:

Step 1 Revision

 1)Revise the sentence pattern "What class are you in? I'm in Class One ,Grade Five."

2)Revise some old words and then play a game.

Step 2 Knowledge

 1)Teach the new words: what is you're my name grade you in

 2) Teach the new sentences: What class are you in? I'm in Class One ,Grade Five.

Let the pupils look at the pictures in your text books .

3)Step 3 Comprehension

1)Look at the slide picture and listen-Listen and point-listen and follow- practise speaking in two steps-pair work

4)Act out this dialogue in pairs.

Step 4 Applications

1)Ask the pupils to make up dialogues in pairs by using the sentence patterns.

2)Divide the class into boy team and girl team , get one pupil from each of the team at once, and act out the dialogue.

3)Group work. Invite as many groups to act out the dialogue.

Step 5 Homework

1) Listen to the tape at home.

2) Make up the new dialogue and act it out.

3) Copy the new words three times.
