The teaching material of this period is the reading passage HIV/AIDS：Are you at risk？on page22，which is about HIV and AIDS ，how it is spread，and how to protect oneself from getting the disease.

Design of the three dimensional goals

1． After the class， students will be able to tell what HIV and AIDS is，how it is spread，and how to protect oneself from getting the disease.

Students' reading ability in skimming and scanning will be improved.
