e.g. domestic / foreign trade:国内 / 对外贸易; free / protective trade:自由 / 保护贸易

international trade:国际贸易;trade mark:商标; trade price:批发价

China does a lot of trade with America.

3、involve:vt. 卷入、涉及、牵涉, involve sb. in / with sth.

e.g. Don't involve yourself in their quarrel.

Some of these kids were involved in the theft.

He was involved with the incident.

This problem involves all of us.

involve ... with:和......混在一起、和......有密切联系

e.g. Do not involve yourself with those people.

While he was in America, he became deeply involved with the art circle.

4、reunite:再/重联合、结合

前缀re- , 后接动词,表示该动作再发生、再做、重做

e.g. rearrange:再安排; readdress重写地址; reappear:再现、再发生;rebirth:再生; rebuild:再造; remarry:再婚; reread:再/重读; redo:再/重做; recycle:再循环

redevelop:再开发 reeducate:再教育 reface:重修门面

注:区分下列单词:return, remember, recover, recorder, republic, replace, remains, reduce

reflect, represent, refer...:这些词并非加了前缀。

另:turn 与return, remember与 member, recover 与cover, republic与 public replace 与place, represent 与present是几组意思各不相同的词。

5、come to:1) 来到

e.g. The team came to the crossroad and stopped.

When he came to a bridge, he heard someone calling for help down below.

2) 变成(某种状态,阶段),谈到

e.g. When it comes to tennis, you can't beat her.

If it comes to building, CPV Company is the best choice for you.

3)(从昏迷中)醒过来 = come to oneself

e.g. When she came to herself, she found herself tied to a tree.

She is unconscious now, but she may come to soon.

4) 总计达:= add up to, total

e.g. His incomes come to 50 thousand yuan a year.

Our bills this month come to 1500 dollars, rent included.

6、prepare sb. for sth. / to do sth.:使某人有做某事的思想准备

e.g. First you'd prepare her for the bad news.

I'll prepare him to face the reality and give up the plan.

We should wish for the best but prepare for the worst.

7、be buried alive:活埋。 bury sb. alive = bury sb. when sb. is still alive

英语中,在动词后面用形容词,表示动作发生时主语或宾语的状态/结果。

e.g. He came back sad and disappointed.

She returned from work hungry.

The old man died happy.

They caught the lion alive.
