1．be similar to 与......相似

指点迷津

be similar与to连用，表示"相似，类似"。

The same to you. 也祝你如此。

It's the same with sb. 某人也是如此。

the same as表示"与......相同"。

He is good at English and can speak it fluently. It is the same with Mary. 他擅长英语并讲得很流利，玛丽也是如此。

2．happen to sb.／sth．"某人／某物发生了什么事，怎么了"，相当于occur to。

[注意]

happen，occur都不能用于被动语态。

类似的不能用于被动语态的单词和短语有：

take place，cost，break out，last，come out，come true，come about，come up等。
