Silent bikes have witnessed the sweet and bitter life of each Chinese family and anxieties and joy during the growth of each person. Compared to cars with four wheels, bikes with only two wheels have ever been an important part in Chinese families. They have also carried the romance of young couples.
The history of bikes dates back to Qing Dynasty when Emperor Tongzhi was in power. At that time bikes came from western countries as paid tribute, and therefore it was called "Western Horse".
In July 5, 1950, the first made-in-China bikes were born in the city of Tianjin called "Flying Pigeon", soon after which "Everlasting" and "Phoenix" followed. Since then, as the first industrial products of new China, bikes have had long and deep influence on people's material and spiritual lives.
